Is baby formula really safe?
In this opening clip of a new series on infant nutrition, pediatrician Michelle Perro, MD, shares why she no longer trusts the FDA to protect babies.
What she discovered in the agency’s own data was startling: uranium in infant formula…and no action taken.
“They looked at 910 foods in their Total Diet Study. Four were infant formulas. Two of those had toxic metals, including uranium.
And the FDA did nothing.”
Dr. Perro and a group of researchers confronted the FDA directly with this information. What did they hear in response?
Crickets.
No recalls. No investigation. No warning.
And these weren’t fringe findings.
This was their data. About our babies.
This is just the beginning.
In the next clip, Dr. Perro breaks down what every parent should know before choosing a formula.
This quote comes from my recent interview with Dr. Michelle Perro, who has spent years researching toxic metals in baby food—and what she uncovered in the FDA’s own data is staggering.
